We’re really excited about tomorrow’s event, Unions Are Cool: Organize and Democratize! This one-hour livestream will take place at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) and feature some incredible guests, like activist, filmmaker and musician Boots Riley, New York socialist legislators Jabari Brisport and Zohran Mamdani, comedians like John Early, and more!
We’re still short of our fundraising goal for the event, so we need your help! If you’ve yet to get your tickets, you can do so here — or make a donation if you can’t make the event. You can also help out by spreading the word or picking up some tickets for friends.
This fundraiser will support EWOC’s critical work supporting non-union workers with the training and resources they need to organize their workplaces. We currently have 40 active campaigns with workers fighting for better conditions, fair pay, safety, racial equality, and dignity. EWOC operates on an incredibly lean budget, but we rely on donors like you to help us cover basic organizing, project coordination, and technology costs.
